Brad,
The unknown is always scary to many of us. However, in terms of Christianity there is nothing but the blood of Jesus to compel us to move forward. Many times we plant seeds, and wait. Nothing grows there and we are discouraged. When, in fact, God is simply sprouting those roots, so far underground, that when it does rise, it will be strong in him and unbreakable. The bible does say patience is a virtue, now if we can only out it into action!

Right on!! All are doing the work, but the work is different based on calling. Worse thing that happened in KJV are the commas in this verse. Take them out and you have a nice flow of responsibilities of work. Thanks for your blog this morning.

I agree. Jesus always had time for a kind word. He was never to busy to take the time to give thanks. Praise is something I lack in my prayer life. Prayer should not just be for the things we want or need, but to praise God for the blessing we have. Even God wants words of affirmation. He wants to be worshiped and praised. I think this is built into the each one of us by God. God intended us to be in relationships throughout our life. Part of being in a relationship is appreciating each other and sharing your affection emotionally and verbally.

Down time. God wants us to have time to reflect. I don't think prayer or reflection on God's plan for you can be scheduled into 15-minutes blocks. Prayer in my opinion should be spontaneous when you are moved by an experience with God. I think those experiences take place at random times throughout the day. A sunset, a child's laugh, listening to a person's problem, typing an answer to a blog. These are all times where you can praise God. God wants us to reflect on him.
