During our transition from Georgia to Oklahoma at the end of 2011 I spent about 2 months actively seeking employment. We officially moved back to Tulsa on December the 6th. Over the following weeks I was out meeting with people, connecting with people over coffee and lunch and having interviews with potential employers and even working with a few for half days to learn their business. Every day I would leave in the morning and come back later in the afternoon. Each day I would of course say goodbye to the family in the morning.

My youngest son who is 5 did not understand where I was going each day. He would ask my wife and I every day, “Where is dad going?” Of course our response was daddy is looking for work. Every day I would come home and my son would ask me, “Dad did you find a job yet?” With concern in his eye, and every day until I got a job I would tell him, “Not yet son but soon.” He was not concerned that I could not find work he was more concerned that I had what in his mind was …I lost something and needed to find it. Like when my son is going to sleep at night and cant find his blanket or his favorite toy. His genuine concern was that I had lost something and he wanted me to find it. I had to remind myself often of that, cause honestly it challenged my manhood and my ability to support my family. But I knew that he was more concerned about me finding something that I had lost.

When I finally got my job (which will be an entire different blog seeing God at work there) I told him that I had found a job. His response was, “YOU DID DAD, YOU DID?!’ With his fist in the air and has a loud “YYYEEEESSSSSSS!!” as he brings his fist back down to his side. He could not have been more overjoyed because what in his mind I had lost I had now found.

It reminds me of Luke 15 and the Parable of the Lost Son and how Jesus celebrates when we find him. I can just see it now, Jesus responding, “YOU DO, YOU DO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO ME?” With a smile on His face and tears in His eyes just like my son did when I found my job.

Luke 15:32 32 We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!’”

A few things we can realize, as a leader is not everyone will think the same way we do. We as leaders have to show people not only that they can succeed but also show them that you want them to succeed.

We can do that in three ways:

First we have to expect it: People can sense your attitude and motive no matter what you say or do. If you have an expectation for people to be successful then they will know it.

Second you have to say it: People need to hear you tell them that you believe in them and want the to be successful. Become a positive prophet and encourager of their success.

Third you have to reinforce it: You can never do too much when it comes to believing in people.

Once people see and feel that you as a leader truly believe in them and genuinely want them to succeed they will rise up to what you see in them.

Our greatest desire at The Movement Church is to use as many of the resources that come through our community of faith to change the lives of people throughout Tulsa, and Bixby Oklahoma, the surrounding communities, the nation, and around the world. Here are our four biggest needs!

1. We need your prayers.

Pray for our leadership, pray for the community, pray for the launch and pray for the people who are going to connect to the Movement.

2. We need you to give financially to the Movement.

We invite individuals, churches, and organizations to pray about partnering with us as supporters, and we want you to understand the values that make The Movement Church a worthy cause.

Check out our Giving tab Here

Give Online at our Blog Link Here

3. We need people for the Launch Team.

Many of you have experience, skills, gifts, and time that you would love to use for God. This is the perfect time for you to donate your time and your skills to help us make our vision a reality. If you can help us for a few hours on just one day a week or would like to donate your skills regularly, we want to partner with you to build The Movement Church into a world changing community of faith.

We are currently looking for people who are talented musicians and people who are gifted with children.

4. We need a Meeting Space in exchange for a donation to our phenomenal cause

We would like for a theater, school, or other facility to donate the space we will use for our Vision Meetings, Pre-Launch Services and Launch Team development

You can email us @ bradleyapost@gmail.com — for more information or click here to give some ideas as to how you may be able to help!

The Movement Church is a brand new church. In fact, we’re still in the process of being born, so we’re coming into existence with very little in the way of resources. But we have big dreams – dreams we believe are worthy of your gift should you choose to make an investment.

We invite individuals, churches, and organizations to pray about partnering with us as supporters, and we want you to understand the values that make The Movement Church a worthy cause:

•	We want to be a very generous church, actively and visibly meeting needs in our community.
•	We will invest in eternal things – people – before buildings.
•	We are determined to multiply – re-investing our own resources into the planting of other churches.
•	We value financial accountability and will maintain openness about how funds are used.
•	We honor the wishes of donors and apply funds according to the intentions of the giver.

To make a donation feel free to use PayPal (button at the bottom) to make a donation, or you can send checks to the address on the right.

Yes, we need funds to operate. But also we recognize that people need opportunities to give even more than we need the gifts. So we invite you to join hands with us to plant The Movement Church.

Become a Strategic Partner
We have no assets, no savings, and no existing track record to establish a budget. What we do have is a huge vision for reaching the unchurched and dechurched of Bixby and South County Tulsa, OK. Our strategic partners contribute to us in a variety of ways – by praying, by sending people to help us periodically, and by contributing financially.

We have a projected budget of $75,000 for our first year, but also have a list of things we could use beyond our budget.

We would love to hear from potential strategic partners. So whether God is leading you to give $5 or $50,000, one-time or ongoing we would be honored for you to give to us.

We are a non profit church with Oklahoma.

My wife and I make it a point to pray daily over and with our kids. Here are some of the scriptures we pray over them daily.

Oh, that you would bless our children and enlarge their territory! Let your hand be with them, and keep them from harm so that they will be free from pain

1 Chronicles 4:10

We pray that our children will be without any physical defect, handsome, showing aptitude for every kind of learning, well informed, quick to understand, and qualified to serve in the king’s palace

Daniel 1:4

The LORD bless our children and keep them;
 the LORD make his face shine on them and be gracious to them;
the LORD turn his face toward them and give them peace

Numbers 6:24-26

I wanted to inspire you today to help you realize that you are one of a kind. You are created in the image of God according to Genesis 1:27. God knew you before you were formed in your mothers womb according to Jeremiah 1:5. He destined you for greatness and has huge plans for you and wants you to walk in your purpose and calling in life.

There is no other person who has ever walked on this earth who is like you. You are rare, you are special, unique, different and important. You can make a huge difference in the lives of so many people. Over Ten Billion people have walked the earth, but there is not now, nor has there every been anyone like you. There never has been and never will be someone like you. Your voice pattern is different than any other voice on earth. Your fingerprints are different and your very genes leave a trail of identifying marks completely different than any other person who has ever lived. You are ONE OF A KIND.

Now develop your uniqueness and remember that we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph 2:10

What If I told you that you had the opportunity but in this opportunity
You would have no
401k
Life, dental or health insurance
No company car
No guarantee of bonus or raise
No cell
And a substantial decrease in your current salary
Would you take that opportunity?
Now what if I said in this opportunity you will have opportunity to
Raise up leaders to fulfill their calling in Christ
See thousands come to know Christ
Gain hundreds of friends—not facebook friends but real friends
Be able to comfort someone in that time of need
See a student ministry grow from tens to over a hundred
Or see a church grow to reach 1000 on Easter ☺
Or be that father figure to a student, or child who does not have that in their life
WOULD YOU TAKE THAT OPPORTUNITY? Cause I did

Thanks Turning Point Church!!!
