In a sentence, what do you do?
Hi, My name is Jonathan. I am responsible for fostering and maintaining client relationships as their main point of contact at the agency. In addition to this, I manage all work that we do for them, ensure that their projects are completed in a timely manner, and provide them with detailed account performance reports.
What fires you up?
I find motivation in my intrinsic desires for both self-improvement and self- expression. To be able to see my skills become more fine-tuned and functioning while simultaneously incorporating aspects of myself and my personality into my work keeps me inspired.
On days I need a little extra enthusiasm, I’ve found a matcha latte paired with my favorite playlist seems to do the trick.
What are your qualifications?
I graduated from Liberty University where I majored in Strategic Communications: Social Media Management and minored in both Graphic Design and Fashion Merchandising.
Since then, I completed internships in marketing and social media roles and have spent time working in the hospitality industry, where customer satisfaction is our number one priority.
Why are you different?
I think that my uniqueness lies in the fact that I remain authentic to myself, even when it is not easy or comfortable to do so. As I mentioned before, self-expression is so crucial to both my success and my fulfillment so I put pieces of myself into everything that I do.
What is your favorite part of the work?
My favorite parts of this role are definitely the relationships that I have built with both my team and my clients as well as the content creation side of things. I have always been passionate about social media, design, writing, and aesthetics.
To me, there is no better feeling than seeing a project that you’ve put time and dedication into come together as something tangible.
What is the most pivotal thing you’ve learned in your career?
In my career thus far, I’ve learned that sometimes you are going to come across people who are impossible to please. No matter what you do or how much effort you put in, they are always going to find something wrong with you or the work that you’ve done for them.
In these situations, you have to take a step back and realize that you did all you could and that you did the best you could do in that moment. Learning not to take this personally has been a saving grace for me in my career.
